A good time had by all

From all accounts The Evening of the Art's was a HUGE success. The hallways were filled with over with very talented craft people and over 200 guest were in attendance. At the end of the night people went home with fabulous gifts and raffle prizes. Thank you all for the tremendous amount participation that made this a night to remember.

The PTO is currently in planning mode for the next fabulous event: A SNOW CARNIVAL, more details will be forthcoming after the Holidays.

We are in full swing mode

as the Evening of the Art's approaches. We have 45 vendors expected to arrive and set up on Friday between the hours of 4pm to 5pm on Friday. To that end tomorrow night from 3pm onward volunteers are invited to show up and assist in preparing for friday nights festivities. The long list of "to do's " includes:

Decking the Halls
Vendor Signage
Poster Making
Assembling Raffle Bags
Assembling Raffle Tables
Finalizing Table Assignments for vendors
Completing Vendor Kits
Finalizing Make and Takes supplies
Organizing "open mike" venue
Hanging Banners (cross fingers they finally arrive)

Live and on Stage

December 18th at 5pm in the Auditorium an exurb of A CHRISTMAS CAROL will be acted by local performer and Saltonstall dad, Erik Rodenhiser as Scrooge.

Have you heard about the Pocket Ladies?


Group of very special women have volunteered to be our "Pocket Ladies" for the Evening of the Arts festivities. These women will be strolling the hallways of Saltonstall in an apron with a plethora of pockets. Inside these pockets are tiny little treasures just waiting for a child to reach in and discover.

Something for everyone's budget

During the evening of the Art's you can enjoy a great night of free entertainment filled with music, singing and dancing and have an opportunity to do some budget friendly holiday shopping.

The Art Corner


The Art Corner, back at their original location on Lafayette Street is attending the Evening of the Arts. Ready made frames will be available to purchase for the stunning works that our students have created as part of the Silent Auction being held that night.

In addition to the large selection of quality made frames Wendy, also offers custom framing for those special pieces that are not of standard size. Also available for sale from Wendy will be unique pictures and images from far away places.

Takes elements from different pieces and reworks them in new ways. This whimsical piece reminds her of pieces of candy! She combined vintage glass and plastic beads, Czech bicone beads, seed beads, and tiny freshwater pearls. The pendant is created from a bright aqua vintage buckle, glass and plastic beads, and white quartz and garnet gemstones.
